VISIT TO ‘VAATHSALYA DHAAMA’ OLDAGE HOME – AN EXTENSION ACTIVITY

“All we need is to build human relations with our deeds. That’s the only thing that lasts forever”. The Can-Cabinet Student Welfare Council organised an extension activity visit to ‘Vaathsalya Dhaama” the old age home, Kodialbail, Mangaluru on June 15, 2024. The activity been carried out under the able guidance of Student Welfare Mentors Mrs. Babitha S., Mrs. Smitha M., and Mr. Avinash. Students found their visit to Vaathsalya Dhaama to be a fulfilling experience. It highlighted the importance of building human connections and demonstrated how small acts of kindness can significantly impact the lives of others.

Students spent the day interacting with elders, showcasing their talents by performing songs and dances, bringing entertainment and joy to the elders. The students distributed fruits to the elders, sharing happiness and care. 9 students from the Can-Cabinet Student Welfare Council participated in this activity, each contributing to the success of the event through their enthusiasm and dedication.
