Parent Teacher Meet of the Final year students was organized on May 16, 2024 at 3:30 PM at Seminar Hall, Canara College.
Mrs. Jayabharathi K. P., Head of the Department of Computer Science & Applications, provided insights into crucial aspects like examination procedures, the importance of regular attendance, and other related activities.
Dr. Premalatha V, Principal, in her message, emphasized the crucial role of teachers and parents in the holistic educational development of students.
CA M. Jagannath Kamath, Correspondent of Canara College, in his presidential address, emphasized the importance of higher education. He mentioned that, with this view, the MCA program has been started under AICTE and encouraged parents to motivate their children to pursue higher studies.
Mrs. Prathima V Baliga, Academic Mentor, III BCA extended a warm welcome to both the dignitaries and the assembled gathering. Mrs. Suma Kulala, Academic Mentor, III BCA proposed the Vote of Thanks. Mrs. Rakshitha Acharya compered the programme. Ms. Shwetha Kamath, a student from III BCA rendered the prayer.
After the formal function, parents interacted with teachers, who provided details on students’ academic performance, attendance & behavior.
Altogether 75 parents and 10 teachers participated in the programme.
