Department of Computer Science and Application arranged a Techno session on “Cloud Technology- MS AZURE Cloud Services” for the final year B.Sc and BCA students on March 30, 2024. The session began by the invocation by Ms. Shwetha, III BCA. Mr. Gururaj, III BSc. Welcomed the gathering. Ms. Unmitha, III BCA introduced the Resource Person, Mr. Dhanush Gatty, Senior Cloud Engineer, Xenica Technology Solutions Pvt. Limited, Bangalore, also an alumnus of our college and our department. Mrs. Jayabharathi K.P., HOD, Department of Computer Science & Applications, addressed the students explaining the significance of the session. Ms. Vishanavi Kamath compered the program.
The Resource person elaborated on the following topics:
- Cloud technology – Introduction, Benefits, types and Services
- MS-Azure – fundamentals, compute services, networking, storage services,VM
- Ms-Azure – Demo
The session ended with the practical hand on tools of creating MS-Azure user accounts and their uses. Students were actively participated in the interaction session. 45 students were benefitted from this session.
