A talk on ‘ My language My pride’

December 7, 2022

A talk on ‘My language My Pride’ was organised by KBVM to meaningfully observe and celebrate ‘Bharathiya Bhasha Utsav 2022.’

The resource person of the talk Ms. Shwetha Pai M – Convenor, KBVM association began the session by addressing the students about the importance of various languages and its significance in the present scenario. Why language of one’s own matters the most to each individual irrespective of so many languages present in India was discussed with the students.

The resource person highlighted the various benefits of one’s mother tongue in our daily life. Students were also asked their opinion and to express their love towards the language they speak. Collective opinion from students was, they feel comfortable, thorough, fluent and confident enough when they speak using their mother tongue. They also respect all the other languages, because one or the other language is important to live in a particular region or state. Learning and practicing new languages is also required to live in present world. In India we Indians are not only stick to one language, rather we prefer to communicate in many other languages which have greater influence in our daily life.

Thus the resource person highlighted the role of each citizen of India in giving importance and treating all languages equally.

She also motivated the students to feel proud about the language they speak, be it their mother tongue or any other language which they use to communicate. Total 20 students were present for the session.
