Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Canara College, Mangaluru organized an orientation programme on “UNDP Entrepreneurship Development Training Program” organized by Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Seventh Sense, Mangalore, the implementing partner on November 24, 2021
The Resource persons, Mr. Ashwin Kumar and Mr. Keerthanraj, the District Community Mobilizers, provided an insight into the UNDP Entrepreneurship Training Programme implemented by UNDP, SAP and UN. The main objective of the program was to empower youth for future employability skills and entrepreneurship. Students were provided with registration forms. They were asked to fill the relevant details and submit the same to enroll for it. Students were asked to come up with innovative ideas and the best 15 ideas would be assessed with incubation support and funding of 15 lakh rupees. The programme was conducted for students of all the streams. The session was coordinated by Mrs. Usha Nayak and Mrs. Vinoda V. Nayak, the conveners of the cell. 620 students participated and benefited from this session
