A workshop on Knots was organised for the Rovers and Rangers Association students in college Ground on January 22, 2020. Besides Canara College Rovers and Rangers Association students, 15 students from Besant women’s college participated in the workshop.
Mr. Preethesh, Rover Leader and District Youth Chairman trained the students with different types of knots such as Reef knot, Clove Hitch, Sheet Bend, Fishermen’s Knot, Bow Line, sheepshank etc.. Mrs. Latha, Ranger Leader of Besant women’s college was also present in the workshop.
The workshop helped the students to gain knowledge about different type of knots and its uses.To rescue the people in emergency situations.
