A seminar on Legal Metrology was conducted to the members of Consumer Forum Association on January 01, 2020 at Commerce Lab. Mrs. Vinoda V. Nayak Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce was the resource person. She briefed the students on how defective weights and measures used by the manufacturers and traders to deceive the consumers. She also stressed on various Legal Metrology Law to safeguard the interest of general public and precautions to be taken in day to day life. 15 members of the association attended this seminar.
