Dr.Vasappa Gowda, Selection Grade Librarian, Besant Evening College inaugurated ‘Readers Club’ on July 21,2017,and said Reading is one of the best habits of mankind to achieve progress in life. Students of Readers Club were given maximum of five books at a time. More than 55 students came forward to write articles in different languages i.e. Kannada, English, Hindi, Konkani, Sanskrit etc.
Students joined the readers club. Mr. Sujith and Miss Shravya Bhaktha reviewed the books of Chakravarthy Sulibele’s -‘Kargil Kadana Kathana’ and Paul Coelho’s – ‘Brida’ respectively.
