Konkani Manyatay Divas (Commemorating the Recognition of Konkani Language by including in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution) was celebrated by the members of Konkani Bhasha Vidyarthi Manadal (KBVM) on 18th August 2015. Dr. Jayavanth Nayak, Coordinator of Konkani Adyayana Pita, Mangalore University and Associate Professor of Economics, University College, Mangaluru was the chief guest. Mr. I.N.Noronha , Student Welfare Officer presided over the function. 75 members of the association with great joy participated in this celebration.
