Canfest 2014 was organized on the 6th and 7th January, 2014. This year Canfest had a theme which was agriculture named as ANRTA, which meant agriculture in Sanskrit.
Why Agriculture?
This year Canfest team tried to educate the participants with growing economy in the field of agriculture. Agriculture is a very large scale business unit which is a plus point to both the businessman and the government. In recent years agriculture has taken a wider, larger step into the field of business and helping in the growth of economy. So this year we tried to make realize the upcoming businessmen the opportunities in the field of Indian Agriculture.
This year the 2 days organized Canfest 2014 had a tremendous crowd of 11 extravagant colleges, where 7 colleges were outstation colleges and rest were local colleges.
Firstly Canfest 2014 started with a warm heartfelt inauguration by Sri Giridhar Prabhu. Which then continued with the inaugural event i.e., Parichay (Ice breaker) where each team had to introduce themselves in a innovative manner and also show a video on what our theme agriculture is all about.
Then the revolution began when the Marupath participants had to go through a Man hunt with which they were made differentiated to 3 different streams i.e., Marupath 1, Marupath 2, Marupath 3.
At the same time Chanakya(Quiz), Neethipeet (Mootcourt) and Mukya (CEO) also had their respective events going on.
The Marupath streams were a combined streams consisting of all aspects taken into consideration for being a Best Manager.
Simultaneously all the events had their own set of rounds. There the day one ends with a start of new exciting rounds for the day two. The day two again started with their respective rounds by their respective streams, which came to an end by the successful conclusion of stress interview.
We had possessed rounds like Annual General Meeting, Press conferences, Stress Interview, Bidding etc. which all concluded with huge success.
The C.E.O was bagged by Mahaveer Jain University, Bangalore.
