Canara College with its noble vision to prepare educationally strong and culturally vibrant students has always been conscious of its role as a premier institute of higher education in the coastal educational hub of Mangaluru city. Central to this mission is the assurance of the standards and quality of education imparted at the college, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was set up on June 1, 2004 to develop and direct the quality assurance function so as to assess compliance with laws, regulations, institutional policies and procedures. Therefore, we firmly believe that Improvement begins with ‘I’ and Quality follows with ‘U’.
