The Socio-Cultural Research and Study Center in Canara College is the first of its kind initiated in the entire state of Karnataka. The centre’s ambit broadly covers the social causes, problems and the need to protect and propagate culture.
The centre targets Self Help Groups, Shree Shakthi members, Yuvaka & Yuvathi Mandalas, Citizens Associations, NGOs, Professionals, Councilors in Grama, Taluk and District Panchayats.
