Bachelor of Arts is a three years graduate programme. A candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University Examination with any combination of subject conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examinations considered as equivalent there to by Mangalore University is eligible for admission to this programme.
Subjects of Study:
Group I: Languages
Language – I : English
Language – II : Kannada / Hindi / Sanskrit
A candidate shall ordinarily opt for any three Arts subjects for B.A.
Group II: Optional Subjects
History, Economics, Political Science, English, Kannada, Hindi, Geography, Sociology and any other subjects introduced from time to time.
