The English language department was established in the year 1973 with two UGC teachers. Since then English has been offered as a second language. English is taught to the Arts, Commerce and Science streams. As and when additional batches of B com and new courses like BCA and BBM were started new lecturers were appointed to meet the additional work load. At present there are three full-time and one part-time qualified lecturer to handle 56hours of workload.
