A Half Day Workshop on “Robust Change Management Process for a Creative, Competitive and Transformative Human Resource Development”

A half day workshop was organised by Management Association on the topic “Robust Change Management Process for a Creative, Competitive and Transformative Human Resource Development” on August 29,2019. Ms. Sushmitha Achar, Research Scholar and Assistant Professor, Cornerstone International College, Chennai was the Resource Person.Ms Manvi Mrinal was the Master of Ceremony for the day. The session was started with a prayer by Mr Jnanesh. Prof Priyanka, Faculty of Department of Business Administration welcomed the gathering. Prof Pushpalatha, Head of Business Administration Department rendered the key note address and Dr K V Malini, Principal of the College gave the Presidential Address. Later the session was handed over to the Resource Person.

The session was all about evidence based transformative strategies that are both competitive and impacting. She explained the different challenges with respect to the robustness of database management systems. Change Management and its transitional progress were also briefed with the help of company case studies. Also, the most recent and promising strategies with the relevance and proper application of the same were also discussed with the students. She highlighted that Proactive Human Resource Management is essential to meet the challenges today and in future. Ms Sushmitha Achar in her talk discussed about Change Management, principles of Human Resource viz logic, risk leverage, segmentation, integration, synergy and optimization. She spoke about the benefits of change management which will help the individual in building commitment to work together in a team. She also conducted ice-breaker activity which helped the students to relax, to build rapport by introducing them to each other. 100 students participated in this workshop.
