Fine Arts association of our college had organized Inauguration of Add on course on Yakshagana on July 24, 2019 at Room No. 15. The resource person Sri Sharath Kadri a renowned yakshagana artist inaugurated the program and said that it is inevitable to study the traditional art of Yakshagana by youth. Yakshagana is mixed art form. It helps in improving kannada language among the students and has enriched knowledge about Indian Mythology. He appreciated the initiative taken by Canara College in this regard. 19 students benefitted from this programme.
