Motivational Workshop on “The Role of Determination, Innovation and Professionalism in Management Graduates”

Without change there is no innovation. Without determined effort there is no improvement. Without professionalism there is no excellence. And ones who strive to achieve these will have a better opportunity to manage change which is inevitable. Further the business world today is undergoing a significant metamorphosis. It is adapting to make competitive space for new ideas, new goals and new generation of employees. As the workplace continues to advance, it is utmost critical to highlight and understand the degree of determination, innovation and professionalism expected by the organizations of 21st century.

In light of this, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College with its annual theme for the academic year 2019-20 “Changing with Times”, in association with the Department of Business Administration organized half day Motivational Workshop on the theme “The Role of Determination, Innovation and Professionalism in Management Graduates”for the students of BBA on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at College Seminar Hall. Prof. Dr. Amitabh Anand, Asst. Professor and Head, Dept. of Business Administration, SKEMA Business School, France, was the workshop facilitator.

Prof. Dr. Amitabh Anand during the session highlighted the power of determination and commitment to work, blended with innovative ideas and professionalism can enable an individual to achieve their goals effectively. He elucidated the same with quoting real life success stories of leading business tycoons who have led their journey from failure to success. Being accountable, exceed expectations, be ethical and clear communication are the key principles of ushering professionalism.

Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan, IQAC Coordinator, delivered the welcome address and also introduced the workshop facilitator to the gathering. Dr. K. V. Malini, Principal and Chairman of the IQAC delivered the presidential address. Mrs. Pushpalatha, Dean, Dept. of Business Administration proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, Faculty, Dept. of Business Administration, compered the formal programme. Altogether 103 BBA students participated in the workshop.
