The Management Association this year with its motto and objectives had planned well its series of activities and the same was communicated to the students. With the aim of seeking wider participation in strengthening the association and make it more lively and interesting, the total members of the association inclusive of first, second and few volunteers from the final year students were divided into three houses which were mentored by faculty mentors viz., Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan and Ms. Priyanka, led by student mentors viz., Disha, B. Amith Prabhu, and Chandana from III BBA. Further, each of the houses comprising of 20 members were further made a team (sub-house) comprising of three each and they were given the activity depending upon the house to which the member belonged to.
The value addition activities chosen for each of the houses were :
1. 3C Analysis – House 1
2. Book Review – Hose 2
3. Innovative Product / Service Launch – House 3
As per their house and activity, each of the sub-house had to get ready with a report of their activity and thereafter make a presentation of the same as per the schedule.
Outcome of the Activity :
The above stated activity enabled the student to get abreast with the recent trends, emerging horizons, latest developments, come up innovative ideas, apply their conceptual knowledge into practical situation, think critically, enabled them out of the box thinking, share ideas, disseminate knowledge, learn the tactics of preparing a report, making presentation, facing the questions from the fellow members and lot more through mutual gain and wider participation.
This activity served to achieve the core values of fostering global competency and eliciting quest for excellence amongst the students.
