Eyes are the windows of the soul. Eyes play a vital role in our day-to-day lives and are perhaps the most precious gift we have. With this concern, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College in association with Vision Express, M. G. Road, Mangaluru, organized a one day Free Eye Check-up Camp for the teaching and non-teaching staff of the College on February 21, 2018 in the College Seminar Hall. Their team of Optometrists conducted the following tests :
1. Auto Refracting
2. Eye Testing using Snell’s Chart
3. Color Vision Test
On undergoing the check-up test, necessary follow-up actions were prescribed by the Optometrists. Principal Dr. K. V. Malini at the commencement of the camp acknowledged the team for their kind initiative. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Premalatha V., proposed the vote of thanks.
The camp seemed to be helpful in taking precautionary measures so as avoid eye related problems and also suggested to do the needful. Altogether 40 teaching and 21 non-teaching staff reaped the benefit of this camp.
