Local Industrial Visit to Karnataka Milk Federation, Kulshekar, Mangalore

August 20, 2017

Keeping the objective in the mind, a factory visit to Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Limited (KMF), Kulashekar, Mangaluru., was organized for the students of Management Association on Thursday, August 17, 2017. The students were taken to the plant and were briefed about an overview of the entire plant, its processes, by-products, and operations and functioning of the entire set-up. The students had a meaningful interaction with the concerned official from the HR Department who was kind enough in sharing the inputs pertinent to the plant. Having visited the same, the students were asked to submit a report sharing their experience as a part for their EC / CC Evaluation. Altogether 46 students visited the plant accompanied by the Association Co-ordinators.

The industrial visit truly added practical value to the student’s theoretical formal learning within the classroom. It also ensured that students are all in touch with the practicalities of real industrial working which usually differs from what they actually have learnt. This activity served to achieve the core values of fostering global competency amongst the students.

Mrs. Dhanyashree and Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan, faculty of the department, coordinated the visit.
