Workshop on “How to enhance Memory Power”

A three days’ workshop on “How to enhance Memory power” was organised from February 6 to 8, 2017. This programme was organised in collaboration with Heartfulness, Mangaluru.  The trainer Ms. Bharathi motivated the students to perform meditation thereby to increase the memory power. She gave very simple techniques of meditation to the participants such as:

  • Sit on the floor or on a chair. Make sure your back is straight and arms relaxed. Alternatively, lie on the floor.
  • Bring your attention to your breath for one minute. Feel your belly rise and fall.
  • Widen your attention to include all your bodily sensations and any thoughts or feelings.
  • Try to be a neutral observer of your thoughts. If you find yourself swept up in a train of thought, return to focusing on your breath.

This workshop was an eye opener to most of our students. They enjoyed the session thoroughly. Altogether 150 students participated in this very effective workshop. This workshop was monitored by Ms. Seema Prabhu S., Ms. Smitha M.,Ms. Raksha Acharya and Ms. Sahana.
