“Reaching Out to Society” – 2016-17, Department of Chemistry

The main intention of this activity is to reach science to the remote schools which lacks the basic facilities like science lab and to create curiosity and interest in science among high school students and to motivate them in basic science studies. Through these activities students not only enrich their knowledge but also encourage the high school students to develop interest in basic science studies. Students also develop laboratory and presentation skills which make them better employable.

The outreach programme for the year 2016-17, was held at Govt. High School, Amblamogaru, on July 30, 2016. Ten students of the department took active part in demonstrating the experiments to the High school students.
