On the eve of International women’s day a talk on “Women empowerment and Leadership” was organized by Women empowerment cell in association with JCI, Mangalore. The resource person District Governor of Lions club 317D Ln. Kavitha Shastri addressed the students. She stressed upon the point that, to empower oneself and to take up leadership, one should spend little time for themselves, so that they can analyse the strengths and weaknesses with in them and can work towards increasing their strengths and reduce their weaknesses. She also told the students to be goal oriented and to achieve the goals one should have good health. She concluded her talk by advising the students to have good values in life and to compromise the values under any circumstances.
