Scientica 2012 was inaugurated this year by Capt. Ganesh Karnik,MLC,Deputy Chairman, NRI Forum Karnataka and Prof. Vishwanath Bhaktha, Founder Lecturer, Canara College, on 23rd January 2012. The event was conducted for 2 days with 7 events conducted for the students of various colleges across the state, and model competition for the students of our college. The model exhibition was visited by 10 different schools from mangalore and some P.U Colleges.
After the span of 2 days, the results were announced at the valedictory function which was addressed by Prof. K I Vasu, Patron, Swadeshi Vijnan Aandolan, and Prof. Ravindra, Founder Lecturer, Canara college.
The overall Champions were St. Aloysius College, Mangalore and SDM college of business management were the Runners-Up.
